Academic Enrichment Series: E-Books

Title:      Search in E-Books

Electronic books (E-books) are a great resource the library offers besides electronic journal articles and print books. The purpose of this session is to show students how to search for e-books using OneSearch, including how to download these books to your mobile device.

Below is the presentation that was used during the session to teach how to search for, access, and download e-books that the library offers.

What are E-Books?

Merriam-Webster online defines an e-book as: a book composed in or converted to digital format for display on a computer screen or handheld device (retrieved 10/21/13 from http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/e-book).

The Ort Library provides access to over 40,000 e-books.
