What is an E-Book?

According to Merriam-Webster's online dictionary, an e-book is defined as: " a book composed in or converted to digital format for display on a computer screen or handheld device."

How to Access E-Books

To access e-books:

  • Log into Research Port
  • Select the letter E under "by Database Name"
  • Select eBooks on EBSCOhost
  • Browse by Category Computer Science, or
  • Type the name of the e-book you are looking for

To access these books you can:

1.  Log into Research Port and then select eBooks on EBSCOhost.  You can search a specific title or by subject and then access the book electronically.

2.  Search the library catalog for the book and then click on the Find It button to access the book electronically.  You can also perform an advanced search and limit your search to just e-books.
