Search Google Scholar!

Google Scholar Search

Google Scholar provides the option to search for scholarly articles utilizing the search engine of Google. However, using Google Scholar provides you with the opportunity to find only scholarly/peer-reviewed articles available out on the web.

You can set up Google Scholar to link items found through that search to items available in the Ort Library. Please see the "Make Google Scholar Work for You" below.

More about Google Scholar

Google Scholar lets you search for scholarly articles using the familiar Google search engine. If the full text of articles found are freely available online or through the Ort Library, Google Scholar can help you find it. This works if you are on campus, but you can also set up your Google account so that it will also connect you to the library when off-campus!

Also note that while you are searching for an article in OneSearch or a library database, you may select the Find It! button to look for full text. If it not available online, you also have an option to search GoogleScholar for full text. (If you are still not sucessful, though, you may request the article through Interlibrary Loan.)
