Database article, "request an item," and interlibrary loan access requires login off campus with your 14-digit barcode number printed on front of your ID card.
If you don't have an ID card, you can obtain your barcode number from your PAWS account: Go to Self-Service, click on Student Center, and scroll down to Other Areas to obtain your library barcode information.

A good place to start: Search for library books in the USM system (including FSU), articles from FSU library databases, and more ... simultaneously from one box! Log in with your FSU barcode ID# to access the articles.
OneSearch is our FSU customization of the EBSCO Discovery Service, which simultaneously searches both the library catalog for books, DVDs, etc. and the library databases for articles. Here is a generic tutorial for the EBSCO Discovery Service, which may help you get a feel for OneSearch, but it is pretty intuitive to use!
