To renew materials borrowed from another library, please email the Interlibrary Loan Office at ill@frostburg.edu. Library staff will contact the owning library and request a renewal on behalf of patrons. When materials are borrowed through Interlibrary Loan, the owning library assigns a due date.
The short answer: it depends... on the format, the lending library, and the shipping method.
Digital Requests:
Digital items, articles and book chapters, are typically processed and filled within 24 hours (not including weekends).
Interlibrary Loan Physical Books:
Physical books coming from libraries outside the USMAI library system can take up to 2 weeks to arrive at FSU, though typically we receive them in 6-7 days. Materials are borrowed from all over the United States!
USMAI Physical Books (Requested through Searchcat):
Physical books coming from the USMAI system generally take 3 to 5 business days to arrive.
