Purpose of Finding Aids

While many of our federal documents can be found by searching in SearchCat. There remains a large number of older uncataloged documents on our shelves.  Ort Library is in the process of creating inventory records which will include those missing documents.  This page will continue to grow as public files become available.

What is a SuDoc Number? A SuDoc number is a classification number based on the Federal agency that has produced the document. If you are not sure which agency published the document you may be able to find it in the Government Publishing Office's Catalog of Government Publications.  You are also welcome to request assistance from a Research Librarian.
