Government Shutdown - Information Availability

Since the Federal government shutdown began on October 1, 2025, most major agency websites are still available. However, most sites will not be updated until the government reopens.

Census Data Alternatives

Some users are finding parts of the data.census.gov website not fully functional. The Tennessee state data center has created a guide with alternative sources of demographic data. The Maryland State Data Center can also provide Maryland-specific data.
