Visit JournalSearch

Using JournalSearch

After finding a title in JournalSearch, you will see a list of any databases which provide access to the journal as well as the dates that are covered.

If your title is not found, it might be available in print. Search in CatalogUSMAI or OneSearch to determine if the title is available in print.

If you are unable to find the title that you need either online or in print, you may submit specific information about the article that you are seeking in an Interlibrary Loan request.

About JournalSearch

Journal Search lets you check on the availability of online journals, magazines, and newspapers.

Use Journal Search when you need to find out whether Ort Library has online access to a specific journal, magazine or newspaper. Journal Search will also provide you with information about the dates that are available and links to that journal at the appropriate databases that provide online access.

You can search for your journal, magazine, or newspaper by its title or browse the entire list by subject or provider.

Journal Search is available from on or off-campus. Students, faculty or staff members will then need to use their 14-digit library barcode number and their last name to login. The 14-digit library barcode number is located on the FSU ID card and is also available in PAWS.

Community members are also welcome to use the library databases on-campus through the library's computers. Just visit the Circulation Desk and request a Community Borrower card (if needed) and a temporary login.
