To unleash the full power of Google Scholar, go into Google Scholar settings and search for Frostburg State University as library link to select. Then you can search the library databases using the familiar Google interface!
You will need to log in with your FSU email and password to access the full text articles linked in the right margin of the Scholar search results page.
SearchCat provides simple, one-stop searching for books, eBooks, videos, articles, digital media, and more that are available to you from the Frostburg State University library and beyond!
How does it work? SearchCat crawls the library catalog and most of the library research databases all at the same time to fetches the results for you. You can limit your search results to specific formats like articles from peer-reviewed journals after you start searching.
The SearchCat search box is also located at the top of the FSU Ort Library homepage.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL) lets you request resources, especially full-text research articles, that are not available through the FSU Ort Library's collections or databases. You can request these sources you find through the yellow Find It button in the individual databases. Interlibrary Loan is not fully operational yet through the new library search tool SearchCat, but there are simple workarounds for that!
